Tasked with streamlining our current process, we require a proficient expert in spreadsheet manipulation and management. Up to now, we have been creating our Bill of Materials (BOM) manually using spreadsheet software. We now seek for an automated system that would enhance this process, taking into account the specifics:
- BOM Contents: The improved BOM should include material lists and their corresponding quantities. We don't require supplier details, costs, or assembly instructions at this stage.
- Work Order Creation: Currently, we are manually generating each work order. This has proven to be both time-consuming and prone to errors. That's why we are looking for a solution that would allow for automatic work order generation upon the receipt of a new order.
Ideal candidates should have:
- The ability to create custom functions and formulas in spreadsheets
- Familiarity with BOM and work order creation
- Previous experience in automating manual processes
- A good understanding of project management tools and ERP systems, as we may need to extend this functionality in the future.
