I need several people who can look at 200 links/day and make sure they look and sound good. I will send you a sheet of 200 websites and a demolink that I want you to check. I have a attached a sample excel sheet of what I will send you. You need at least a 256k internet connection (probably faster), speakers on your computer, and at least a 1024x768 resolution. What we sell is chat software with vido and I want to make sure our video on the website looks and sounds great. So, I need people to make sure there is no sound already on the website, the video and website load, and the lady in the video isn't cut off in any way (like her head or her feet). If there is something wrong, I want you to find another page on the website that would work. This is step by step what you will do: Go to one of the demolinks in the spreadsheet (for example: [login to view URL]). You will see that the lady is talking but there is also someone else talking so this isn't a good demolink. Now you need to go to [login to view URL] (which is the website associated with this demolink) and find another page that it will work for. Usually the finance page or service page is a good one without noise. When I click on their finance page, the page doesn't have a lot of stuff (what I mean is that the page doesn't have text and pictures on the whole page)...so I went to the estimate payments page (below the finance page). This webpage is [login to view URL] Now what I am going to do is copy the new webpage (except do not copy the http://www. only the stuff after the www.) and paste it after the = on the demolink. So the new demolink will be [login to view URL] Now I am going to check it and make sure the lady isn't cut off on this page. This one looks good. What I want you to do is check and fix the the demolinks. There are some websites that simply won't work, I want you to put a N in the column called demolink works if it doesn't work on any page. Maybe, every page is the same structure and the lady's head will be cut off on every page. If you find a website like this, I want you to put a note that says "Website cuts off video on every page" if there is sound on every page of the website, I want you to put a note that says "Website has noise on every page" If the video plays and the website hasn't loaded I want you to wait until the website loads, then hit refresh and see if that will pull the video and the website up at the same time. If you cannot get the video to play when the website is loaded, make sure the webpage has no sound on it and that there is nothing that would obviously cut off the lady in some way. Most of the webpages should be right though...and on those I want you to put a Y in the column called demolink works. If you find another webpage within the site that will work (like in the example above), I want you to put a Y in the column called demolink works and then paste in the new demolink into the excel sheet over the old one. Also put a note that says "Fixed demolink". If it is a duplicate, please put "Duplicate" in the notes field. If it is an invalid website (not an auto dealership, domain expired, or doesn't go anywhere), than put a N in the demolink works field and put in the notes "Website doesn't work" If the video and chat never load or the webpage directs you to another page and the lady doesn't play (and you tried mulitple pages on their website), put "chat won't load". One more thing, some of the website I will send you will be cut off at the end (the .com/.net is cut off) I want you to try both and see if you can find the website. If you tried both .com and .net and it doesn't work, then put that it is an invalid website.
