I am moving a wordpress site. The site had a special theme with a bunch of content. The previous host gave me a tar file that he says has everything I need. I've set up a fresh install of wp at the new host - you can see it here: [login to view URL] I need the old data put in and fully functioning as it was. I know wpress, but not that well. Hello fermanaghwebdesi, The .tar file is the compressed file (also called a tar ball). It's like the rar or zip under windows. I've been working on a hosting company for 5 years so I've done this all day long. I can start working right now :) I just need the .tar file and the FTP and DB server on the new host.
