Senior Project Manager

We are looking for a domain expert who will plan, execute, monitor, control implement projects that are both client-related as well as internal operations related. Most of the projects will involve software or web based solutions. You do NOT need to have in-depth knowledge of software functional areas such as PHP development or web design tasks within the project, but you DO need to appreciate all the processes being carried out and be able to confidently challenge others at a level of informed understanding. The technical aspects of the project management role would include activities needed to develop and complete the project definition, and then to implement the project in accordance with its implementation plan, controlling the project assuring the required quality of delivery. You will need to interface with Business Users, Technical Developers, Web UI designers and QA testers. We are currently using online web tools such as [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] to track the progress of projects but will transition to new web tools as needed. Responsibilities: a) Develop and manage projects, both client-related and internal b) Clearly define project scope and objective c) Schedule and host weekly or daily SCRM status update meetings. d) Set milestones and ensure they are met. This includes chasing team members for deliverables. e) Develop work flows and monitor performance f) Establishing the project baseline metrics and parameters required to control the project during the implementation stage g) Control and report all activities involved in the implementation of the project h) Ensure the completion of projects i) Weekly updates on project progress to the Managing Director j) Write clear and detailed status report. k) Be able to interface with both Business as well as Technical project team members and ensure that project milestones are delivered on time. l) You must be prepared to travel to Singapore twice a year for training and meeting of clients and team members once or twice a year. m) Clear ability on process and Project Management with at least 4 years of project management of web based Projects. n) A clear understanding of the SDLC.
