I have a C program that uses RPI i/f to program GPIOs on Raspberry Pi. Downloaded it from the net. But it's for older models that use BCM2835. Raspberry Pi 4 uses BCM2711. This is causing me difficulty in understanding and porting the program. I am attaching the program files (which could be erroneous), BCM2835 datasheet, and the BCM2711 datasheet.

I am in the midst of a project to convert a 1976 jaguar to electric using parts from a Tesla Model S. The Tesla drive unit produces CAN codes that I would like converted to drive analogue gauges. My vision is a vintage car that appears standard on the interior with modern electric drive train. A tank the size I want, can run upwards of $2000. if I’m going to spend that, I might as well make a Custom tank with all the features I want. The main thing I dislike about my current set up for him is the massive knot of wires for lights, humidity controllers, timers and foggers. I wanted to program a logic controller or raspberry pi to control a majority if not all of the functions of his current tank. We have a bus safety system running on a raspberry Pi with a 7" automotive HDMI touchscreen. This is a prototype solution developed by our Electronic engineering firm. The GUI is basic and functions as required, but needs improvement. The system shows the status of seatbelts on a bus. When a seatbelt is latched, the icon associated with that seat goes green. When unlatched it turns red. When unlatched for a period of time - it goes white. The system is designed to work in any sized bus from 4 seats to 60 seats. At the moments the seatbelt icons do not scale in size to match the numbers of seats configured for that bus.
