XML/XSL to replicate functionality of “Frozen Windows” in Excel

We currently have some code which duplicates the functionality of an excel spreadsheet in which the top header row is frozen, while the user scrolls down the rows in the file. The goal of this project is to do this for the horizontal dimension, in which the 1st (leftmost) column is frozen, while the user can use a horizontal scroll to screen across the other columns, so that user is not limited to the width of the page in viewing the columns. Bidders are invited to submit a simple version of the solution. Upon being awarded the project, the winning bidder will be given our development code with which to integrate the horizontal scrolling solution. We thank you in advance for your efforts.
