Joomla/Jomsocial site with K2 & OBgrabber needs corrections.

I need help from someone STRONG with K2 & OBgrabber, with strong skills in PHP and database management and writing Cron jobs. My site is built. The previous developers did not have enough knowledge of K2 & OBGrabber to complete the work. It is a football news aggregate site and posts articles from around the league which are pulled in via RSS feeds. - the feeds come in by way of OBGrabber & K2. The site has several pages, a main page, fantasy football news page, & 30 team pages. All of the team pages are exactly the same, except for the fact that they are personalized for each team. K2 & OBGrabber have never been configured correctly so the site has been crashing and getting errors. **** What needs to be done******* - currently there is a PHP fatal error involving K2& OBGrabber and it is keeping the site from coming up. I have logs. This needs to be resolved & is the result of a previous developer not completing the job correctly - Configure cron jobs and optimize K2/OBgrabber to correctly bring in new articles and delete any articles & all associated data (images) that are older than the newest 2000 articles on the site. Purging of old articles should happen every 2-5 hours unless otherwise recommended. This is to manage the size of the site and make sure that the site never grows too big and always stay operational. - the cron jobs should check for & bring in new articles every 30 minutes. Whichever way the developer decides this gets achieved is fine with me, but it should be efficient. Check 6 teams at a time every 5 minutes or 12 teams every 10 minutes. I will trust your judgement. - I need to make sure all cron jobs function and the size of the site is not growing, after article work is done the site will be evaluated for 5-6 days to make sure it is running efficiently before any milestone is released. One other small correction is that currently when a visitor clicks the article preview to read the full article, it takes them there in the same window. I'd simply life for that to be globally changed to open up the full articles in their own new tab. I have included a couple of screen grabs of the site. I have changed the sites name but not the logo as of yet. I have a hundred and fifty to get this done. I would like to have this completed and tested as soon as possible. Thank you for your help.
