Corel Wordperfect Mail Merge To Word Files

To bid on this project, you must have licensed copies of WordPerfect and Microsoft Word as well as be very proficient in using both word processors, and have very good English language skills. This project I am seeking pricing on is a first step as part of a larger project. I write standard inspection reports and prepare relicensing permit applications for waste treatment systems. A typical relicensing application package consists of several letters, two to four standard forms and two to four standard reports. Currently I use wordperfect to put in all the data about a particular system into a .dat file. This file is then "mail merged" with several wordperfect .frm files to produce draft reports and draft applications. Many of the mailmerge data fields in the datarecord fields, such as facility name, owner name, etc., will appear in several of the different files (.frm). I am interested in getting prices to convert our system for generating reports and appliction forms from WordPerfect to Word. Basically, we want to enter all the data we use for each waste treatment project in some basic data file that is used by WORD then have Word generate the individual forms and reports needed from that file. CAREXAMPLE and OMPREXAMPLE are reports. Total report length is about 25-28 pages each. DEPFORM1 is 3 pages, DEPFORM2 is 31 pages. MOst pages have one or more elements that are merged in from the .dat file. Besides these, I have 2 other single page letters forms that have to be transferred over to WORD, as well as two other 3 page forms. The successful bidder will be given copies of the Wordperfect files in their native format (.dat, .frm., wpd, and will also be shown some examples of what the files typically look like after they merged and all cleaned up. As indicated, this is the first step, we are looking to find 2 or 3 companies to work with these files afterwards on multiple projects. We normally process 4-5 of these per month. We are interested in converting the basic forms and files we use from WordPerfect to Word so that more people could work with us on them. After this project is completed, there will be a follow on project for actually doing some of these packages for us. Terms: 1) Successful bidder will agree to keep these files confidential; our company retains all ownership rights. 2) Bidder should provide in a PM what their qualifications are in using wordperfect and word. They should also be able to very succinctly explain how they are going to go about doing this project, and how the mail merge concept used in WordPerfect is applied in Word 3) Payment terms: Upon successful completion of converting the .dat files and .frm files for FORM 1 and FORM 2A into their Word counterparts, 50% of the total fee will be paid.
