I own a DOS based BBS system that I would like ported to run in a Command Window on modern Windows platforms. The code base consists of mostly C and a bit of assembler that handles low level functions such as managing the COM ports. All of the assembler should be able to be replaced with C or C++ code as speed should no longer be a issue on newer machines. The code base was developed in Microsoft C Professional Development System, Version 6.0 (released 1990), and is compiled using with a makefile.
