Im looking to update an ms access application from 32 to 64 bit. Set-up: 2 files, 1 program, other pure data - Basic functions of buttons (printing, updating, sorting) - VBS some scripting for special routines & functions - SQL import/export The app has a number of functions, but I'm not sure in how many cases there will be an effect on them because of the upgrade from 32 to 64 bit version of access Here are some extra points: 1. we import xls files into the database daily. 2. we import data from csv files daily 3. we export data to csv files 4. we export data to a MYSQL database 5. it is basically an ordermanagement and shipment app So in short, we import orders, we add shipping data, create shipping labels and import/export data in various formats

We do some datalogging of etc. temperature and humidity, and we need to present this data in a report. Today we have an excel sheet, with some macro/VBS programming (Attached for coding reference Rapportgenerator ), to pull data from one excel file per logger (See attached logger data example and ), process it, generate graphs and insert the data, using placeholders, in a word template (See attached Rapportskabelon ). That results in a final report in wordfile that we will save as PDF and send to the customer (can be sent to the developer that win the project) This solution is not good for large amounts of data from large amount of loggers, since excel seem to stall out. Currently script runs till a certain function logs a ODBC time out error and proceed to get stuck in a loop. The script is written in visual basic and uses windows scheduler to run.
